| In 1997, Porter County hardware was opened at 387 West US Hwy 6 in Valparaiso. While being a complete hardware store, it also offered lumber and building materials for quick and convenient pickup. In 2006, a design center was added, featuring cabinet, hardwood flooring, door, window, ceiling covering displays and much more. This is a great place to stop in and make selections for new home or remodel projects. Make an appointment with our kitchen & bath design consultant to design your dream kitchen. In 2009, a lighting showroom was installed to serve all your lighting needs. In 2010, we added stock cabinets to the mix and a new name: HLC Cabinet Express. We have affordable cabinets in stock, hardware basics, and still a mix of home selection displays. |
